July 2017 the Managing Director launched the new One TAFE strategy, as a result all TAFE regional and institute websites needed to be merged into one. This meant the organisation needed to consolidate 10 institute websites (1,000+ pages) into one central website.
The process involved analytics analysis, analysis of persona’s and development of key problem statements to target, creating themes and grouping of common content areas within all sites, creating universal taxonomy, testing the taxonomy by facilitating face to face and online user card sort test, testing with key personas if they could find their information as per the key problem statements mapped out using TreeJack.
