TAFE NSW Homepage UX - Case study

The TAFE NSW Homepage analytics indicated an opportunity for improvement in UX and customer flow. As part of the "Be" campaign for TAFE NSW semester 1 2017 campaign a new fresh look for the site was rolled out.

Discovery

  • Google Analytics reporting

  • SEO and opportunity gap analysis
  • In depth user behaviour tracking software implementation
  • Heatmap, click map and live interaction test analysis

Ideation

  • Report analysis from discovery
  • Feature prioritisation
  • New direction developed and approved by stakeholders

Prototyping

  • Lo-Fi Concept created and paper prototype tested
  • Pivot due to feedback
  • Iterated Lo-Fi concept retested and accepted successfully
  • Hi-Fi Concept created in Adobe XD and tested successfully

Launch

  • Built new layout within the SquizMatrix CMS on UAT environment
  • Tested on UAT environment and pushed to live

Result
